Solid Blue (gray), Domestic Shorthair
Hello, I’m Lucy, and I'm a lovely spayed female senior kitty. My rescuer, Sarah, found me in a feral cat colony when I was still nursing, back in 2003. She took me, my mother and my siblings into her home, and we became NMAF cats when she passed away in 2004.
My social skills are a mixed bag: I enjoy my other cat companions, and my best friend Ella is a gentle greyhound (who is also solid gray and looks as if she could be my sister). I’m still shy around people and dogs I don’t know well, so I’m not exactly what you would consider a social butterfly. My favorite cuddling time is at night, when we go to bed. (I would like to sleep on the bed with you.) I love to be petted and will greet you with a meow when you come home!
Oh, and I also have lots of fun batting around feather toys.
I have excellent litter box habits, and I keep things nice and neat. My current diet consists of Hills dry prescription diet for renal care, as I have mild kidney disease, as well as some regular canned food.
My perfect home? I think I would like to have another cat friend, in a home where I will get lots of affection from my human family. A nice dog would be okay, as long as he or she is sweet and gentle like Ella...
