Hi, my name is BLACKIE. I’m a black shorthaired girl, born around the end of April, 2011.
I was born in a doghouse with my 3 siblings (Precious, Zorro) in a very kindly woman’s back yard off Montgomery. Our mother was an extremely shy feral cat who could not be tamed, so she was spayed and released back to her home territory.
However, our benefactor discovered us when we were just a few days old, and handled and played with us every day, so we’re very friendly and sociable! One of my sisters was adopted by a family member, and the rest of us were taken in to be fostered and put up for adoption by our person friend Kiff, an NMAF volunteer who came over to trap our mom and have her spayed.
My brother, sister, and I are as wonderful, friendly, and playful a bunch as you’ll find anywhere. Our hobbies include purring, chasing bugs, stealing pens, chewing up feathers, and being friendly. We’re fully box trained and don’t have any bad habits.
Our mother was a gorgeous, slinky black & white cat with a cute flat face and very big round eyes, almost like a Persian cat but with short hair. We are just as loveley.
We need loving, forever homes. Please consider adopting one of us, or maybe two, or better yet go whole hog and take all 3 of us home! Littermates will usually get along well together for the rest of their lives.
I promise that you will not receive any bad luck if you let me cross your path! You may receive licks, purrs, and meows, but no bad luck whatsoever...
