Lara

Lara is a beautiful spayed female, DSH Brown Tabby, DOB 7/2010?.

Lara was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation while she was nursing kittens. She and her litter were taken to Albuquerque Animal Care Center (AACC) where they were fostered by a kind home until the kittens were old enough to be spayed/neutered, and they were put up for adoption. AACC then asked NMAF to take Lara so that she could have a chance to recuperate both physically and emotionally in a foster home -- she's a sweet kitty but was very nervous in the shelter environment. She's doing well now in her present foster home, is eating great and using the litterbox like an old hand.
