Lotus

Lotus is a wonderful 5-6 year old, spayed female, Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua and Dachshund mix). She has short black fur and is about 8.5 lbs.

Lotus is a very sweet and loving little dog. She is very well behaved and she is wonderful with other dogs. She does take a little time when she first meets men, but a couple of treats usually wins her over. She boughs and lifts her leg when submitting. When she’s happy she spins around in circles, and she loves sleeping on the bed with her fosters. Lotus seems quite relaxed and likes the back of the couch or a lap. She hasn’t been tested with cats and because she is so small and shy, she will need a home with older or very respectful children. Lotus is house trained, she also walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. She does have a little separation anxiety.

Lotus needs a kind person/family who will give her all of the love and attention she deserves. She will need some of daily exercise and maybe a nice yard for her to explore and run in. She would do well in a home with or without other dogs and she would love to continue sharing the bed and couch with her new family.
