Meet Chico! Chico is an interesting combination. He has the tri-colored fur of a little wild fox, he has the long legs of an Italian greyhound, and he has the double-curved tail of a pug and is the size of a tall Chihuahua! We estimate he was born early 2015.

Chico was in a shelter for several months and when we were asked to provide him with a home environment where he could thrive. He is very shy around people and probably wasn't socialized well. In his new foster home, he has learned the joys of being petted and held and sleeping inside.

He is good around the other foster siblings his size and has learned the doggie door. He likes carrying around toys in his mouth. Chico will probably need some basic dog training but with the right home will be a handsome and loving little dog (8 pounds or so). He will not do well in a home with children but will do best in a home with an adult who can give him his space and be patient with him.
