Moonpie is a smart, healthy, happy puppy. His age is about 11 months. He showed up at our home 7 months ago, likely abandoned. He's been a bundle of fun caring for him as he's grown from sweet puppy to handsome almost-adult dog. Moonpie is a great guard and companion dog who loves long hikes, playtime, treats, car rides and cuddles. He is house-trained and sleeps in his crate through the night and during nap time. He's a healthy and energetic puppy - he has a good appetite but doesn't overeat, sleeps well. He's a bright boy - he knows his name, obeys 'come', 'sit', 'stay', 'up' (into the car), and is learning fetch. He's good with other dogs (our older dog is his bff), cats, and kids.

Moonpie has been our special boy these past several months, but we've come to the tough decision that ours is a one-dog home. We will miss him, but he is ready for his furever family to bring him to his new home! We are close to Santa Fe, Las Vegas, and Taos, and can arrange a meet and greet.
