Pearl was adopted as a kitten by a family living with two big, active dogs and a doggie door. Once grown, she decided to move on to a more comfortable living arrangement. She eventually met up with Pixel, and they became companions, fed by kindly neighbors. Pixel was found with an injury, and NMAF took both cats off the street in June of this year.

Pearl is a beautiful, healthy, affectionate young cat who enjoys the comforts and safety of the indoor life. She's using her scratching post and litter box regularly. She likes human attention and often asks her foster mom to pet her soft, luxuriant coat.

Pearl is confident and adaptable, and she gets along with the other cats in the household, with only a few hisses among them from time to time. She and Pixel do not sleep together but do hang out with one another in the house. They would love to meet you!
