Buckwheat A.K.A. Bucky - Adopted!

CONTACT: Jeri @ 292-6114 or 350-7463

Buckwheat is a neutered male born 4/15/09.
Bucky and his brothers and sisters (Darla and Stymie) were found along with their three other siblings, under two tons of lumber in a south valley construction yard. Their mom, a sweet and friendly itinerant black mixed breed (Labrador/Bulldog or Boxer/Heeler), became a favorite of all the guys at the construction yard, and it looks as if she had several male canine suitors as well. Bucky looks like a hound/Sharpei/German Shepherd cross.

Buckwheat is affectionate, smart, mellow, and playful, and likes kids of all ages, from six to 16; he's comfortable with cats, too, and loves to play with other dogs. He is housebroken and crate-trained, and already knows how to sit and walk comfortably on a leash. He chases his rope toys and likes to cuddle up watching television with you in the evening in the family room. He's probably going to be between 50 and 70 pounds when he grows up so will need to have a nice yard with a fence about 5 or 6 feet high.
