Duke - Adopted!

Duke is a wonderful 2 year old, neutered male, pure-bred Bassett Hound. He is a long haired Bassett hound. He is white with tan markings and weighs 37 pounds.

Duke is a very sweet dog that truly enjoys hanging out with people. He seems to do well with children and loves to be hugged as well as have his belly rubbed! He gets along with other dogs quite well, and really likes the outdoors. He has plenty of energy and can surprise you with the speed of his little legs. He is housebroken and is learning to walk on a lead. His hair is long, silky, and soft, making him extra adorable. Duke has a big heart a lot of love to give, to the right family.

Duke needs a kind and loving family who will give him all of the love and attention he deserves. Because he has longer hair, he will need regular brushing and grooming. He will, also, need plenty of daily exercise and playtime. He would love to have another playful canine companion and a nice bed and/or couch to sleep on with his new family.
