Moonie - Adopted!

Moonie is the brother to Cheetah and Diane. This is what his foster mom had to say about him…

My second favorite...and by all rights he should be my top pick. From a very young age Moonie decided he wanted to belong to a person. When we are all outside together, he is the only pup who will always stay near me. He also obeys promptly. Even when I'm calling him to be locked up in the puppy pen, he trots right in because he so wants to please me. When I bathe him he stands perfectly still because that's what I want him to do.

Like Diane, Moonie is a short-legged "big" dog. He appears to be a Bassett Hound. He was born March 12th, 2011 and he too weighs 25 lbs and should weigh 30-35 lbs full grown. Moonie is black except for a small white area on his chest. He has perky ears and a cute little cork-screw tail.

Moonie has also been on errands with me. He rides well and enjoys visiting with people. He also loves to trot right into the house and jump onto the sofa. Like Diane, he stays for an hour or so and has never had an accident though he has not been house-trained.

Moonie is friendly and does well with children, dogs and cats. I believe he has been dressed up too!
