this boy is bunny soft - his fur is fawn and he is a sturdy little bundle of energy - he loves romping with other dogs - good with dogs in general but can be a bit bossy at times, even a tad dominant - this will get him into trouble now and again - he is loving and cuddly - likes to run an chase - crate trained, reliable in house, digs when determined to get out of the exerpen - house trained but will mark - great dog for a senior with time to spend - good on leash, likes to walk, and rides well in car - would enjoy a canine companion but definitely no children under 10yrs - x-rays show that there are BB pellets imbedded in his neck and shoulders - they do not need to be removed but he is sometimes tender in that area - care with scratching his neck or he will snap to warn you it hurts - does not bite - he is friendly and gentle and loves cuddles from his humans or to be around them as much as possible
Monte has a grade 5 heart murmur so will need to be on heart pills for the rest of his life (inexpensive) and according to the Vet his life will be long - apparently dogs with a heart murmur tend to live long and healthy lives as long as they remain on their meds
