Sachem - Adopted!

Sachem (saytch' em)is a gentle, loving dog, a German Shepherd cross, about 8 years old. He'll be a wonderful family pet and a lovely Warm Hearts therapy dog. He will do best in a quiet house with a single other dog and mature children. When he enters a room, everyone smiles (including Sachem!), and he approaches people, whether known or unfamiliar, with joy. He's the kind of dog who would be happy just about anywhere. He thoroughly enjoys life and people.


In his ideal home, he will be an only dog, living with adults and no young children. He will be a great and loyal companion for his people, a dog who would never want to be too far away from his family.
