H I, I'm Winthrop! Yes, Winthrop! Just like the cute kid in "The Music Man" play and I'm just as cute, but I'm FLUFFY. IF I had a middle name it would be "Fluff".

I'm about a year old and probably a Maltese or Bichon Frise cross. I weigh 12 1/2 pounds but I need to gain a little more weight to be just right. In fact when I was out shopping with my foster mom a very nice lady handed her a bag of my favorite treats and said "Wow, he's a real cutie but he needs to gain a few pounds!" I am very treat motivated. I was housebroken in just 16 hours! I'm a fast learner, go potty outside to get more treats, not so hard to figure out. We didn't get much sleep that first night but we got the job done. .....so I am proud to say "I'm housebroken!!"

I came from a very high-kill shelter and when my time was up a very nice person acted quickly and got me to NMAF. Getting rid of the bugs that were living off me was such a relief! I love riding in the car and I love meeting new people because I am so friendly now that I know that I will never be neglected or mistreated ever again!!

Fireworks and thunder frighten me terribly so I will need some loving arms to comfort me when those loud noises invade my peace.

I get along with all of my foster siblings and some of them are cats. I understand cat language: purr means "don't stop" and hiss means "stop immediately or else." Cats don't stutter and I don't misinterpret the language.

Enough about me, I want to hear about you! I'll be at Petsmart on Saturday waiting for our meet-up. If you notice a breeze when you get there, don't be alarmed, it will just be my big fluffy tail wagging to meet you.
