Jitterbug is a handsome 18 pound little mix of a a dog. We think he might have some Jack Russell in him because he can dance and bounce like a jitterbug!! But his legs are shorter, his ears are bigger and his back longer than a standard JR. Whatever he is, he is a nice dog. His light brown eyes can pierce right thru to your heart!


He gets along well with his foster brothers. He is learning the doggie door and is very respectful of his surroundings. He would probably do well with an active household, a canine brother or two and lots of activity to stimulate him. Gets along well with people.


He probably weighed 18 pounds when we got him but he was skin and bones and probably needs to weigh about 25. Then with his energy needs, you will soon be jitterbugging around the town and you will lose the 5 pounds he needs to gain. He will be very loyal and will benefit from some basic training.


We think he was born around April 2015.
