Patches is a dilute calico with the softest fur ever. She is particularly fond of high places, getting on top of the kitchen cabinets and bookshelves. She likes laps and has an interesting habit of getting into them. She will put her front paws on her foster's lap and get petted, then drop down again. She repeats this several times before jumping on. She sometimes joins her foster person for workouts. If you are close to the floor, you can add "pet the cat" to your reps. She was boarded at a vet for an extended period of time after her person passed away. They took good care of her there, but she found it stressful. Consequently, she is not at ease during adoption clinics and must be seen at her foster house instead.
